ChipView Semiconductor's independently developed CV9480 series display timing control chips have achieved a major breakthrough in reliability. Recently, after rigorous testing by the third-party authoritative testing institution, Shengke Nano (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., the chips demonstrated outstanding performance in key reliability metrics such as electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and latch-up resistance, with their overall competitiveness reaching the industry's top tier.

In the semiconductor chip industry, reliability serves as the cornerstone for market competitiveness, while electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection capability stands as a critical metric for evaluating chip quality and stability.

As one of the most common reliability hazards throughout a chip's entire lifecycle—from production and transportation to assembly and end-use applications—ESD (electrostatic discharge) can cause instantaneous breakdown, performance degradation, or even permanent failure of chips, directly impacting the stability and lifespan of end products.

Testing and certification: Multiple core metrics meet the highest industry standards.

This test report indicates:

• ESD-HBM has passed ±8000V testing, achieving Level 3B of JS-001-2024 (Level 3B is currently the highest level in the current ESD testing standards).
  

• ESD-CDM with ±1000V has achieved Level 3B of JS-001-2024 (Level 3B is currently the highest level in the current ESD testing standards).

• Latch-up testing at ±200mA and 1.5×VDD exceeds the maximum standard specified in JEDEC JESD78F.02-2023 (the current latch-up test standard requires Positive I and Negative I ≥ 100mA).

This achievement marks the CV9480 series as the industry leader in chip-level anti-static design, delivering enhanced stability and reliability for display modules, high-end panels, and demanding applications.
